I'm getting a little anxious again. :P
So the cosplay group we've been planning -most likely- won't be happening this year. Seeing as Krio is the only one who's anywhere near finished. Actually, as far as I know she's the only one who even got started.

I know for a fact that I won't be getting mine done. At least not to the degree I'd like it to be. Things have just been way too busy, and I've been way too broke.

I really need to stop depending on my folks for money and things that I want. I'm nineteen and I've never had a job other than doing miscellaneous crap for my moms' work. It's sad, really. I'm extremely dependant and it's starting to make me sick. I mean, don't get me wrong, living rent free and not having to pay for my meals is awesome. I'm cool with that, since I'm still going to college and still kind of a teenager. But I want to be able to get what I want and what I need on my own. I don't want to keep asking my parents if they could get this for me or if I can borrow money for that. It's not fun. And it's not cool to do. Not to me, anyway.

I REALLY need a job. I need to pay for my own gas, pay for my own schooling, and pay for my own shit in general. It's about damn time I grant my parents at least a bit of independence on my part. It's seriously disgusting me. I'm an adult. I need to act like one. At least where finances are concerned. It's not like they can't support me, I just don't want them to. Not this much. I feel like a toddler. I need to get my shit together already.

That rant is caused by the reason I'm broke. I haven't been home to earn allowance, and the rest of my fundage usually comes from birthdays and holidays. ALL of which went to my trip to Nebraska. I got lent $60 for AX, and didn't buy anything but half a ticket and food. xD And I haven't even sent out the final commission that was paid for a few months ago. So my parents have been buying me everything I need this vacation. And it's starting to bother me.

I REALLY need a job. I don't want them to have to take care of me.

I'm a big kid. :P

Anyway, so once I get home from Nebraska I'm going to start looking hardcore for work. Anything but fastfood. I'll work in effing Claire's if that's what it takes. They won't like me at all, but DAMMIT I will work there.

Anyway, so cosplay is off my list of things to do for now. There is time for cosplay later. Sorry, guys.

As for Ani-Magic -- it's being held at the Palmdale Hotel out on Palmdale Boulevard instead of last years' spot. Nifty. :) That's definitely good news.

I'm thinking about renting an Artist Alley table to make a few bucks. I can whip out some prints and fanart and do-dads before October, no problem. And the tables only cost $20-$30 for the weekend. Trouble with that is, I kinda want to work there too. So I don't know how that'll work. I don't want to just go pester my buddy for a position last minute and then go sit at a table all day and not work at all. That's bullshit, I couldn't do that. Especially to a friend. But Krio says she wants to split the table with me...which would help me if I needed to work or help a guest...

I donno. But I probably won't cosplay at all this year. Unless maybe I find really cheap Nicolae stuff, since he's crazy easy. Then I can just sit at my booth and sell things. And be in character.

I had an amazing D.Gray-Man dream...*o*

It was very SokaroxKloud, but it had a story...kind of...It was like...an OVA...but...it would be a gorgeous Doujinshi...

If only I had that level of skill yet...

It was strange...because it started with an incapasitated Sokaro. o__O

And Kloud was kind of doing the observation thing (because he was in the hospital wing or whatever) and she was kind of frazzled (from the mission they'd gone on, It's later revealed.)  

But anyway, Tiedoll shows up, 'cause apparently he was supposed to be doing observation, but Kloud couldn't sleep (look, fluff! Wut?) so she went to stay with Soko (stole your nickname, Grando. xD Sorry.). 
Anywho, he'd gotten her a drink (wine or something, because they got to talking and flashbacks started happening.  Very sexy flashbacks. <3 )

One flashback (the second one, the first was the mission they'd gone on, but that replays throughout the dream!ova/doujin) was on one of grando181  and somehuman 's DGM roleplays (The shower one. You know, you know. ;D)

Another was loosely based on some of Grando's writing and my own imagination on the pairing. Mostly smut flashes, nothing super graphic or detailed, just kind of flashes while Kloud is talking.

Anyway, I kind of had the urge to write it all out and making it into a doujin (eventually, when I have 1) the time and 2) the skill).  So it's one for the archives, so one that I don't want to forget.

Anyway, the reason I asked the two of you two read this was to ask permission to use your influences/roleplay for this if I ever am able to do it (which I really hope I do, you know from experience how long doujins take me to finish. D:  ) .  But yeah, if it's alright with you I would love to use the stuff.  And if I ever got it printed, I would totally send both of you a free copy. :D

I've been surfing Gaia Online to find a worth-it roleplay of Watchmen (or God Forbid a decent Minutemen roleplay) and for the life of me all I find are n00bs and asterisks and OC spam dumps.

But I want to start one. I'm sure we could wrangle together the crew. I wanna play the Comedian so bad. xD It wouldn't be a 'POST!OR!DIE!' rp, just kind of an easy-going post-when-you-can type scenario.
